Self Help Techniques to Relieve Anxiety:

  • Take a deep breath
  • Remove yourself from the stressful situation, even if only briefly
  • Check for inaccurate or exaggerated negative thoughts
  • Check for thoughts that are overly pessimistic
  • Go for a walk outside, in nature. Get some perspective or call a friend.
  • Open up to someone about your situation – get feedback – and listen!


Cognitive Therapy (CBT)

Relieves anxiety, in part by addressing the repetitive negative thoughts that generate the negative feelings.  We Overcome your negative thought patterns, learn some new skills, and stop the negative cycles that perpetuate your worries and fears.
